If you’ve ever said, “I’ll get back on track when life calms down,” I’ve got good news and bad news.
Bad news: life doesn’t calm down.
Good news: you can still be consistent anyway.
That’s the whole idea behind The Wayfinder Path (75 Days) — it’s built for real life. Busy schedules, travel, stress, kids, long work days… all of it.
This isn’t a “go hard” plan. It’s a “keep showing up” plan.
The goal isn’t hard. The goal is repeatable.
Most people don’t quit because they’re lazy.
They quit because their plan only works on their best days.
So let’s talk about movement minimums — the kind that keep momentum alive even when you’re busy.
The movement target (and the options that count)
In the Wayfinder Path, movement is 45 minutes total each day.
That can look like:
- 45-minute workout
- 30-minute workout + 15-minute walk
- 45-minute brisk walk/hike
What matters isn’t intensity. It’s follow-through.
Because the win you’re really after is this:
“I’m the kind of person who moves every day.”
The “I could do this again tomorrow” rule
If you finish today’s session completely wrecked and dread tomorrow, that plan won’t last.
Try this mindset:
- smooth reps
- steady breathing
- leave a little in the tank
Your goal is the kind of effort that makes tomorrow possible.
Outside time is the secret weapon (10+ minutes)
The Path also includes 10+ minutes outside daily — and honestly, this might be the most underrated part.
Ten minutes outside can:
- lower stress
- improve mood
- increase energy
- make you feel like a real human again
Alaska winter counts. Bundle up. This is about showing up, not suffering.
When life is chaos, shrink the plan — don’t quit
Here are a few “minimums” that keep you moving when time is tight:
- 30 minutes steady + 15-minute walk
- 45-minute brisk walk (headphones, podcast, done)
- class workout, then a 10-minute outside cooldown
Consistency isn’t a personality trait. It’s a plan you can repeat.
Your homework for today
Pick your movement option and commit to it. Then do it at a pace that keeps tomorrow possible.
