Most people don’t skip a competition because they can’t do it. They skip because they’re not sure they “belong” in it.

If that’s you, here’s the truth: BarBelles & BarBros was built for everyday athletes. Not just the people who live for competition. People with jobs, kids, stress, and a schedule that doesn’t always cooperate.

What this weekend actually is

This is a partner competition at Wayfinder Fitness & Nutrition. You show up with a teammate, do a handful of events over the weekend, and leave knowing you did something that required a little courage.

It’s not about being the best in Alaska.
It’s about showing up, giving your best effort, and doing it with your people around you.

Divisions (so you have a lane)

We offer Rx / Intermediate / Scaled for a reason—so you can compete in a way that matches where you’re at right now.

A simple way to think about it:

  • Scaled: you want a fun challenge and you’re still building consistency/skills
  • Intermediate: you’ve got solid fundamentals and want to push
  • Rx: you’re confident with higher skill/volume under pressure

If you’re between divisions, the best question usually isn’t “Can I survive Rx?”
It’s “Where will I have the best experience and the most fun?”

Two key dates (so you don’t get surprised later)

  • June 9: register by then to receive a shirt
  • June 24: WOD announcements

Kids Kupboard (optional, but meaningful)

We’re partnering with Kids Kupboard, and you can donate right at checkout when you register.
