What’s this all about?

The CrossFit open seems so long ago… CrossFit Alaska typically hosts the Alaska Open Invitational and it’s always done so well and such a fun event each year. We do not want to replace their event on a regular basis, but provide a temporary event given the little more flexibility we have with gatherings here in the valley and our own personal desire to still have a competition. This event will be a one time event and will not be repeated.

We decided to throw together a quick, simple, and fun competition to highlight and showcase the hard work athletes have and are still putting in regardless of circumstances. It’s always so fun to see everyone’s gains each year. Invitations will be extended to the top 15 in each age bracket in the 2020 CrossFit Open. After that, we’ll open registration for whoever else wants to snag the remaining spots and come play along.
